guys ,... i have cross bars on my jeep already but i have no clue how to secure my spare on it , any help please ?

Put em so the tire fits on them or a couple more bars from the junkyard for more strength and just use two tie downs to secure in a x pattern

 

brackets and cross bars dont come with it

 

That looks great, and on the stock rails. How did you mount it?

 

How much do brackets usally run?

 

with the supplied U-bolts.

Yakima Load Warrior that fits on factory crossbars, 225 on amazon. Bought mine three days ago, big rack too. You can buy extensions for it, high lift jack mounts, shovel mounts, it's great.

How is the quality of the rage cages? The brackets don't look too strong

 

quality seems good. i don't plan to do much more with mine other then haul my spare tire and maybe the occasional extra load when camping so i think it will hold up ok. bolts do seem a bit small, but i've rocked my entire jeep side to side and they didn't move so we'll see how they hold up...
