I'm looking for a track bar and the rocky road one is $125 shipped made with dom tubing, a "lifetime guarantee against denting and bending" and looks like it has a flex joint on one end for 3"-6" of lift. Does anyone have one of these?

http://www.rocky-road.com/xjtrackbar.html. They seem to get poor customer service reviews but idk. Also that is a tre not a flex joint. But I'm going to 4.5" so idk if I want to do the bracket and the drop pitman arm that is supposedly needed with the bracket

Should I just go with the rough country 4"-6" lift one?

i bought a rocky road track bar, seemed pretty heavy duty. ended up not fitting that XJ BECAUSE the previous owner drilled out the hole bigger for the bar. It would be a perfect solution to your problem.

get it, good deal and rocky road is a reliable company.

Do it right and do it once.

It is pretty heavy duty, tightened up steering quite a bit.

Rocky road sucks. Had a ome lift on order for over two months They told me 10 business days when they charged my cc. After numerous unanswered emails and voicemails (polite the first four emails then not so after another 7) i finally had to get the utah better business bereau involved to get my $$. They suck moosewang when it comes to jeeps. If you have a samurai ( their alleged specialty) only slightly better, there are many good companies you could purchase from. Rocky road should not be on your list
My two cents

^^^^thats where it's at. Never heard a complaint (besides bolt length which was apparently fixed) nor do I have any since I have installed mine.

Fwiw, I ordered an ome aal set from rocky road, it ended up being on back order, other than wishing I didn't have to contact them to find that out after I ordered, I have no complaints on them either, everything arrived within their estimated time.

Bottom line, it may be the solution you're looking for but in the end you're better off spending a bit more and getting something better....
