Default Rims Stock or after market

In searching this forum and other off road ( jeep) forums the answer to this question seems to be all over the place.

I have used the search feature and come up these different answers.

I decided to only ask this question on this forum.

I would like to run 31X10.50's on the stock jeep rims with a 3 inch Rusty's lift, no AAD, a complete rear spring replacement and the 180 lb front coils.
The answers go from:------

Yeah Run those tires and stock rims there will be no problem

You can run that combo but you will have some rubbing

and the worst one in my mind is that 'you cannot run that combo without losing 20% of your turning radius. You HAVE to use soft 8's with an increased backspacing' (From another forum)

So experience counts and I have turned to this forum for answers??

The turning radius in very important to me.

I drove a Chevy short bed truck at work and the turning radius on that thing was in the neighborhood of 20 acres.

I like current turning radius of my "waiting on the Rusty's lift kit" stock* XJ, (* referring to the suspension) with 235 x15 and stock rims.

I have the 5 hole wheels that came on the '80's YJ's. They have an offset and I only have rubbing when I'm flexed and turning and my turning radius is good. My spare was a stock XJ wheel with no offset and I don't use it because I don't want to rub, but I am running 12.50's. My buddy put 12.50's on his F-150 with stock wheels with no offset and had to put spacers on so he could turn without rubbing, he still rubs easily, so I would say offset wheels would be best or spacers if you want to keep the stock wheels. Then again, you may be find with 10.50's. I guess I didn't really help which makes this post pointless.
