All three are supported in larger tires but 15 is the most popular and 17 is the least because you want the most amount of sidewall you can get. It's really up to you but I would either do 15's or 16's, I have 16's because the tires I wanted were only offered for a 16" rim

I would go for 16... room for bigger brakes... and tons of tire choices at Treadwright.com

Depends on what you use the Jeep for. Street only - as big as you want. Offroad - 15" suggested because 1) the tires cost less 2) more sidewall for airing down. Even then, you can stil run 17" offroad as long as you make allowances for that choice. I'm too (legally) drugged right now to go into the details like fender chopping, mud vs rocks, blah blah. Wheel size is really a personal preference between you, your sense of style & your wallet. Who cares what internet folks say?
