Default Is this repairable? I am thinking about buying this as a project

The rear light is all I am worried about
I don't even care if the back hatch opens I just want it water proof.

I wonder how that happened.

Thanks for input. I am thinking about buying a new light assembly thing and just putting it on any way it will be secure.

Hard to tell how much damage you have from that picture.

Do you have a wider view photo?

I'm very skeptical. If that's all they showed there might be more damage. Before you go ask for more pics

That's a good idea thanks. He only wants $500.00 so I'm not expecting anything pretty.

With a new quarter panel and tail lamp pocket, yes its repairable. There is a good chance of some damage to that uniframe rail and possibly the rear leaf spring mount.

I personally wouldnt buy it unless it a trail only rig and you plan on chopping it up.

I plan on trail and ugly daily driver. Unless I can't fit fourties under it and use it daily. This will be my first Jeep. I want something I can camp in. I don't like paying rent and like camping in different places all year but some are really hard to get to. Maybe I don't need fourties but that's what I want.

For $500 I bought a 90 4 door that ran and drove fine. Body was in good condition with faded original paint. I wouldn't bother with that one at that price. $300 and I might. Should be able to pick up a straight body, running jeep for $1000 easy.

Just noticed that the gas tank fill point is right there. He says it's rhinolined... Will the gas tank be difficult to replace?

With that much energy transfer up the quarter panel i'd steer clear, thats not just the outer skin thats damaged, youre talking inner quarter, unibody rail, im sure that LT rear door probably has issues opening, etc.
