Removal of fender flairs

i completely unbolted my drivers side flare and broke all the bolts that held it on, i redrilled out the holes and put new hardware in, now it doesnt sit flush and pops off now and again

When my stock flares were on, I had some 31x10.50's on with 3.5" backspace wheels. As soon as I went offroad and flexed, the fenders popped right off.
Apparently, a tire is a valid tool for this job
Here's a write up:
1. have tires on 3.5" backspace wheels or so
2. Disconnect/remove sway bars
3. Go wheeling
4. If not completely removed, go wheeling more
I guess if you want it to look good, this may not be an optimal removal process, but I thought it was funny.
