2000 WJ need info on OEM radio, can't play cd's. Pressing button on head unit does not cause cd player to work. We hear noise from cd changer but no music. I removed the radio to change heater core, did this cause some kind of anti theft or alarm mode or lock out? Also had to remove the remote cd to replace interior panel. Radio works great and cassette works great. Just no cd's

 

Hope you get a answer, Mine plays the single cd in the radio fine but the remote does not. Like you I hear it and the radio says error when I try it.
