I need to get a reman engine for my 01, problem is i cant seem to find one that isnt 2grand or more. I wanted to hear from members here who they got their reman engines from and their experience. Several of the places ive looked into had red flags all over them so I wanted to make sure I would be getting it froma decent company.

 

Really? Man, when I googled "4.0 jeep engine" I found a few places that sold reman's, and I saw a couple that were like $1200,and came with 3-5 yr. warranties too, just search better, I was blown away by how cheap you can get a remanned 4.0 for, I've only got 152K miles on mine, but seeing how cheap they are got me thinking about getting one in the not too distant future. For the 2001? links would be nice, and yes Ive spent the past day and half searching.

 

my bad dude, I guess the engines for the 00-01's do cost a bit more, I looked at PowerSource, www.psengines.com/AMC6.htm, and www.rebuilt-jeep-engines.com, I've got a '94 and luckily my year's a bit cheaper to buy an engine for than yours, sorry bud.

 

Thats the issue im running into, plus im checking them all out with better business before I consider buying.
