Alright folks, here's a new one from me... I have auxiliary lights installed on my roof rack, but they are wired directly to the battery. Goes from battery to switch to light to ground. Is this setup OK, or should I install a relay somewhere in this circuit?

 

Yes, a relay is never a bad option. Especially for lights.

 

Definately relay. Unless you like burning components out.

 

How do I make the connections?

 

Dont forget the fuse.
