Here is my red 1990 xj. Paid 250 with bad motor. Swapped out with lower mile 4.0 and built it up. I have a hp 44 and ford 9in for axle swap and lift kit later this summer. Did the exo over the winter. And yes that is real and was a bit scary.

Stinger saved me. I built the front bumper and stinger the when I got it. My cousin and I were going down a pretty good hill in 4low and it took off on me. I smashedthe breaks and closed my eyes, it was all trees at the bottom witha few holes to fit though. The front locked up and apprently there wasnt enough weight in the back. Just stood right up and stayed like that. Wewalked a mile or so to my uncles and had it pulled back down. Waited a little bit and it started right up. Scared the hell out of us. Happened last summer. Its been going around the interwebs pretty good since then.

 

Funny story, took the kids for lunch and ride to local mountains, I here dad dad someone is by ur jeep, told them they like it, it's ok, on r way home I here dad this guy wants to talk to you, I look over "nice jeep man" and every five mins a waive thumbs up, kids had a kick out of it
