I have only seen one cherokee with rear coils... Has anyone does this mod? How is it working? Was there a need for beefing up the "frame" strong enough to take the punishment at a more centered point? Pics?

 

Stangs dab sells a kit to do it, including rear reinforcement and rails.

 

Is its worth the 2k or so is what im wondering. Anyone used this kit or a kit like it?

 

it works well when setup right.

for the coil buckets i built a rear crossmember/shock hoop out of 1/4" box and plate that supports the weight of the jeep resting on the coils. and the rear control arm crossmember is built out of 1/4" and mounted using 3/16 bosses that i welded into the framerails

what are you trying to gain from rear coils? it is a ton of work to do right.
