Default Re gear Axles or Swap

Hell, i am just getting into jeep and have a 1991 jeep cherokee, I'm finally able to do lift and am going for 4.5 inch rough country with full leaf packs. Once i install the lift i was hoping to get new tires and was looking at 33's, but have been reading i have to re-gear my axles if i want to do so. Should i go to junk yard near me and look for dana 44 or Chrysler 8.25 rear axle< or just re- gear my current axle which is a rear dana 35c. ??

The Dana 35C is an OK axle as long as you don't over stress it. 33s are the limit and if you add a locker you can snap an axle. The 97+ 8.25 would be a much better axle for you. Besides, if you re gear, it can be a little cheaper since all ratios use the same carrier.
