Ya, I am a fan of fully welded too but sometimes its cheaper to go bolt on. And then you can always go and weld it later

You can if you know what to look for. Bolts are made by machines and possibly made in china. Welds are done by hand. but i do agree that a good LOOKing weld can have sh** penetration.

Back to the OP's subject, I really like the look of the new bumper as well. It's a really cool looking set up. I am however concerned about the strength of the tow points being bolted and not welded either. I also see the stinger/pushbar part of being for looks more than function.

I love Rough Country products. They think of everything going through the process of installation for us guys who don't weld. I'd bet this bumper fits better than any other bumper on the market too. Even if it is not up to "tube bumper" standards. Their stuff just fits right.

It looks like if you get the stinger that it has the d ring things integrated into it? Can someone confirm that because that's what it looks like to me, if so I will be ordering this in two weeks!!

I like the looks of the RC Bumper, but I bought JCRs winch bumper, rear, bumper with d-ring brackets and 2 inch receiver, rock sliders, gas tank skid plate, and their transfer case skid plate. I got a great price on some serious armor. The bumpers and rock sliders are built using 5 x 2, 3/16s inch tubing, I bought the three bolts for the passenger tie in bracket so my winch bumper has 7 bolts on each side holding the bumper to the uni-frame.
The reason the JCR bumper costs more is because the material in it costs more.

To you guys that are thinking of buying this bumper, make sure you take lots of pics and do a write up. I'd love to see how they turn out. They look great in the video.
