I'm digging the 97+ front end conversion! Nice lookin paint too, what kind of paint did you use?

 

its duplicolor engine enamel in grabber green

 

how much did you pay per can? im diggin that green.

 

around 5 bucks a can i did it with 10 cans

 

How long ago did you paint it?
I did a car once in duplicolor engine paint and it faded really bad

about a month ago. its held up really good so far it takes abuse really well. as far as fading. i dont really know yet but if it fades it fades and then ill redo it with a clear coat

 

i cant post pics cause im at work but you can see mine in my albums but my O.D. job took about 9 cans if i remember and cost me 48 bucks..came out friggin awesome..i love it!

 

Gasman, LOVE THE RIG!! 2 questions. 1. where did you get your seats done? is there a website i can visit. 2 what kind of paint did you use to color the interior and were there any kind of preping tips you might have?? thanks man!!

 

sorry man those seats are a one off,, my buddy re-upholsterd the originals for me,, he does furniture for a living ,, the interior krylon fusion just clean the plastic well, use an adhesion promoter, and your gold,,

 

yea i hear ya. did you by chance sand the interior down? or jus clean, prep and paint?? sorry if its a dumb question i just dont want to mess up on my rig.

 

no sanding .. clean prep and paint ,, thats it thats all,,,,,,
