I managed a Jeep dealership parts department for 20 years (we were Jeep only, no AMC or Chrysler, since we signed up as a ****** dealer!) and my favorite thing to do was browse through the catalogs when a new model came out to see the new options. The one that hit me on the XJ's was the "leveling headlights" that used a dash mounted switch to actuate a servo to pull the headlight bucket back to throw the high beam further down the road for autobahn driving. I wanted to add that to the 69 Chev truck I had at the time and pulled some strings to get a pair (we were supposed to have a valid overseas VIN to order, but...). I never put them on the Chevy but finally parted with them a few years back (probably Ebay). But that would be a nice option in my book! Russ

Turns out that I was wrong in post #47 about column shifters. I didn't realize the AW4 could have a column shifter. So an 87+ column shift AW4 would be pretty cool to find.
