If there was such an animal as "best" then all the others would have gone out of business leaving only one left. That's not the case so u'll just have to make a educated guess based on your info searchhere and on the Net.

I'm partial to the PowerTrax No-Slip autolocker as I have installed 4 units in various vehicles including the XJ. I believe the No-Slip is the only autolocker that does not make a ratcheting/clicking sound in a turn. Is it the best?.....doubt it, but I have been very satisfied with them. Nothing is unbreakable.

Jegs and Summit Racing carry the PowerTrax and Lock Right autolockers.

That's beauty of an autolocker....if mounted in the rear, it's always there ready and waiting whether 4X2 or 4X4.

Better do your homework before recommending the NoSlip.

I don't know if you clicked on the lmgtfy link but the first result is a thread that compares the Aussie and Powertrax lockers.

NoSlips will no longer be built. Motive Gear bought Richmond Gear and isn't making NoSlips anymore. From what I've been told this includes replacement/repair parts.

This is why I removed them from me website.
Breaks my heart too.

So has anyone heard when Aussie might have them back in stock?

I don't do homework anymore that's why I suggested to the OP he do his. If the PowerTrax is out, then that's a bummer.

Im sure they'd still have to warranty it one way or the other if they're still being sold.

Maybe PowerTrax and Lock-Right will continue to be built.

“We are very excited to add the Richmond Gear, Powertrax and Lock-Right product groups to our Light Duty and Hi-Performance divisions. The combination of Motive Gear, Motive Gear Performance, Ten Factory, Richmond Gear, Powertrax and Lock-Right creates a synergy that will be unmatched in the aftermarket”, said Mark Chudacoff, president and CEO of Midwest Truck & Auto Parts, Inc.. “This acquisition strengthens our position as the worldwide leader in the Racing, Hi-Performance and Off-Road aftermarkets.”
