very popular kit. Good company. The aal will be a little stiff but ive ran them with good luck! Next closest lift would be from rough country. Which is about the same thing.

ya you can but i would just buy a bigger kit because your going to have to get new shocks, trac bar, lca'ss, brake lines, maybe sye too.

alot of people run spacers ontop of their lift, i plan on doing this over the summer to run 4.5", once you go past 3.5" of lift tho it starts to get expensive, and you will need lower control arms, trac bar, pitman drop, brakelines, and more then likely a tcase drop or a sye, and some other little things. alot of shocks that come with 3" kits can be used for slightly bigger likes, i beleave the ones i got from rough country are good for a 2" to 4" lift.

AAL is garbage, they will sag very quickly and if your rear end is already sagging like almost every other xj then you wont get 3" out of it. Save yourself the time and trouble and get full packs.

thats weird because ive had one on my work truck and use it to pull my sea ray and its yet to sag. My jeep has had it for almost a year and it hasnt sagged. my brothers jeep had one for 3 years with no sign of sag. its all relevant to the pack your putting it into.

True, but as I stated most jeeps have saggy rears that are already sagging so putting a aal into something thats already sagging will only lift it a small amount and not the full 3". So unless you replace the packs with new "factory" packs and add AAL which will be a complete waste of money I would go with full packs. Just my 2 cents.

On a side note you and your brother are lucky. I put a set of AAL on my 95 and it started sagging after 6 months. I was kinda pissed and will never use AAL again.
