Hey guys, first post here. Not new to cars by any means, but never really dealt much with Jeeps.

I am in the market for a truck, something reliable, 4x4, capable.

I came across a 97 Cherokee that is in absolutely gorgeous shape, black, 130k, no rust whatsoever (I was under the car) Paint is very near perfect, interior is perfect, motor starts and runs perfect. One owner since new, older gent, veteran, power washed the undercarriage a few times every year, new tires, comes with a small landscape trailer.

I'm rambling... but the car is clean, looks like it just came off the line, aside from the fact that it has 130k on it.

What do you guys think a fair price is? I think he's asking a lot, but I want to know what an enthusiast would pay for an almost perfect example.

A lot depends on your location as to prices after all it is 18 yrs. old.
