I got mine to run yesterday.. at 253k with god knows how old fuel (at least a year and a half) it ran smother then my bmw

hooray! lol

Tell me how many miles you think it has and I'll get a cluster and roll the mileage up or down to match

Last one had 287k before i broke a rocker arm retainer that took out the head gasket. actually drove it to work 60 miles round trip for a few days with a bad head gasket running on 5cylinders.

new one has 163k

Has to replace the head gasket at 199700 miles... I bought a brand new head, because she deserves it... she runs like new now and wont quit

I would think about putting some bearings on the bottom end, with all that restored compression from new valves, it puts quite a bit of new stress on the bottom end....

250K km, ok that's it for the break in period.
the Peep will be getting the factory recommended 700 K km oil/filter service on Monday.
You got lots of life in those 4.0's
