Just so you all is aware, Assembly Bill AB1421 is a mileage tax plan for California. Call or write your representative to express your opinion.

I will leave it at that so as to not get political. Just want you all to be aware of this.

This may involve some sort of tracker device GPS installed for mileage checking. I assume there will be a cost for the install up front. Golly I have a bakers dozen of cars. I hope I wont be required to buy trackers for each car.

Anyway, for or against, express your opinion to your state representative. This Bill is current. Let your voice be heard.

AB 1421 is just a study bill. It only proposes to research options. It does not create a tax or require trackers. They are only allowed to study it. Contacting your rep is still a good idea to share your concerns early.

 

Im not in california but I do fear this tactic from the government to make the extra $$ or as the result of lost revenue from all the push with electric vehicles. Diabolical acts against the vehicle hobbyists out there.
