Ok so my question is how big is the light pattern of procomp's fluted slim lights? I'm planning on mounting them up on my a pillers.

Would I be better off using spots for that location? If so why?

I'm not familiar with the specific lights in question but I do know that for roof lights and A-pillar lights spots are suggested, at the least driving patterns. Fogs and other flood-style lights reflect a lot off the hood from those two locations. A lot of people still run them, it's just not ideal or "the best".

 

I've heard about bad reflection characteristics, but I've also heard if the color of the hood is dark and not gloss. The reflection is almost none existent.

I'm really looking to run fluids up there to spread out the light. But I'm curies how big the pattern is of the fluted.
