Default Pre 95’ center console bracket? Is it the same as Post 96+

Howdy, I got a 1993 Cherokee that I am doing a console swap in, I’m scraping the base level non existent console to a 1994 center console. I’ve looked for a console bracket that you would get in the 1996+ newer style interiors. But I can’t find any brackets for the older style console? Dose anyone have any insight on this?

Default Console bracket?

Is there something like this for the pre 96 era center consoles for bolting it down in the rear?

NO it is totally different.
There are two metal brackets that are screwed to the tunnel. II will grab a couple photos for you in a bit, as my console is out right now.

They are both metal brackets that attach to the tranny hump.

1996 was actually the last year for the pre-facelift XJ's. 1997 was the first year for the facelifted XJ's. The console isn't a direct swap, you'll need the brackets from the '97+ XJ.
