well i did some research that seem to be a 84 grill only for the waggy went to dual headlights from 85 up.... very good find

Oohhh.... that 84 could have had the low-back buckets also, or the wood-inlay AMC logo door panels...
The Briarwood was an attempt to switch FSJ buyers to another Jeep product as they killed off the Grand Wagoneer. At the time the GW had highest per capita income buyers of any domestic vehicle. Chrysler didn't want to loose that small segment of high disposable income buyers. There were some cool add-ons available with the Briarwood. Like the Jeep brand car-phone.
