Buddy of mine uses a Tamron 18-275mm. Works well. They're in the $650 range.

That's not bad and I like Tamron. My dad has one of their zoom lenses on his 35mm film Pentax SLR. That thing is sweet.

Thanks! Did a lost wax process to cast that out of aluminum back in high school, originally was my shifter for my old cj5 I had a long time ago.

Thanks! Doesn't do it justice, that right rear tire looked about 8-12" off the ground from the top.
