yep, dark blue. And damn man that stinks, but the dip will cover it all. Thankfully mine is in great shape. Bought it about a month ago, 89k on the engine, runs amazing and I'm really happy I finally have one. How'd you do the grill, painters tape around the hood and headlights or what?

Haha the mud itself isn't too deep so I'm not worried about getting stuck at that spot too much.

And it's up in Duluth near my house. You live in MN?

I was just going to tape it off, but to be able to get all the spots so no chrome would be visible I just took it off, litterally takes a few mins. Lucky yours is in great shape, mines been nothing but problems, but this is my last main problem. After that its a simple tune up and she should be good to go, then I can tackle my long list of mods I want to do.

I have an 02 too. What other problems have you had? And yeah, there's a few screws holding the grill to the body right? Shouldn't be too bad. How many cans did you use, 1?

Not really, other than the obvious Gilbert. My new jeep's a pavement pounder though. Forest roads up in the chip forest are about the most 'wheeling' it sees. My 89 though, that saw its fair share of mud

I had it a month and then it started overheating, and my radiator cracked 3 seperate times, ended up replacing almost the entire cooling system, I had 0 brakes when I bought it, foot to the floor cross your fingers brakes, so did all those, then a brake line broke, fan relay a few times. Blown head gasket, transmission was acting up, but replaced the lines, and that corrected itself for now. Lol

And I bought 4 cans and used 2 and a half cans for the rims and the grill, I put about 4 coats on everything.

god damn dude! How many miles?! My mom has an 04 Limited Edition GC, she's had a few problems mainly because of aftermarket parts. Stick with Mopar ONLY. Needed a new oil pump, radiator, and this weekend she's getting a whole new fan assembly then she's good to go. Only problem mine has is I need a new wheel bearing for drivers side front wheel soon, when I take left turns I can hear it hum a little. Gunna do it before it gets bad. Also, I have the weirdest faint chirp noise that comes from my transmission only in idle. Mechanics said they've never heard it before and there's no problem with my tranny at all. So weird.

Oh y I forgot I have a bad inner diff seal on the front passenger side, but its not too bad, I am sure all my bushings need to be replaced for all my steering components, but im saving for a la lift in the spring. Just going to wait it out. I just went past 134xxx. The previous owner didnt do any type of maintenance.
