Thought about the kick panels but there is no room in the foot well with 3 pedals.
I never have an issue with them but I'm only 5'10" Tue passenger seat is a good 2" higher though and a lot of people hit their head on it. I also have ZJ seats though and when I still had XJ seats nobody had issues.

I had to move mine behind the done light a few inches. I'm 6'4" lol and that's the best mod I've done since going doorless! Also have a second one in back plus the speakers in the rear hatch all powered by a small 400w amp. Sounds nice and loud without doors! Plus you don't get them as dirty playing in the dirt and mud as you would in the kick panels
