So it doesn't have that clearance issue with the nonbent drag link right? That's a good start. I'm sure it'll hold you over for a while. For some reason I thought you were running bigger than 33s.

To answer your question, yes the steering box can wear and go bad over time. But so can all other components. It's more likely the ball joints took a dump than the box. It's more likely your hubs went bad than the box. And so forth.

Start with balancing/rotating your tires.

I'm going to try and get my tires balanced/rotated on my days off this week. I'll check the ball joints, since it's possible. I doubt it's the hubs, they're both less than a few months old, but I guess it's possible.

Cheers

So I'm going to get my tires balanced in a few days. I was wondering though, so I order a new drop pitman arm? I'm assuming mine is stock, and I'm sitting a little over 6.5''.

Thoughts?

If I need a new one.. Where's a good place to buy a larger pitman arm?

Post a picture of your front end from dead on. The purpose of a drop pitman arm would be to get your track bar/drag link parallel. Are they not currently parallel?
