has anyone here built there own roll cage out of parts from a wrangler one? there are so many people selling tj roll cages for $50 where i live and do you think it could be done at all even i would have to buy 2 or 3? it seems like it would be an insanely cheaper way to get a roll cage in the xj. let me know what your thoughts are. Thanks

 

Those roll bars are meant for a one time use. Notice I didn't use the word "cage." End up with the rubber pointing the wrong direction once and they are designed to fold to keep the passenger safe. Might be kinda cool looking though, especially like a YJ sport bar on a chop top. If your goin more for looks I'd say why not?
