I drilled a hole in the flat part behind the hood on my old jeep I had a hell of a time doing it due to limited space for your hands but 3 hrs later I was happy. Never again will I go that route. My new jeep I'll make a purch for the lights to bolt to in the same spot

Yep, I normally run with it in the down/tucked away position (helps keep bugs and some mud off lol). I just wish mine was the black version, not chrome (can't complain for $30 though).
