Typical winter drive to work. Hey best snow day for the jeeps was when brother in law came for Christmas, I told him to rent a 4x4 at the airport. Get a call at 2:30am, just a mile down the road, in the ditch. Snowin hard and wind gusting to 60mph. Dressed warm and a couple blankets. The Peep and my youngest daughter in her Hello Kitty ZJ on an inlaw rescue mission. Well he rented a Yota Rav4. I had told him to rent a 4x4, inlaws eh? Any way my daughter lines up the HKZJ and I dig under the yota. Where to hook up?? It's like all skid tray, no hook points. I suggest we just put a shot thru the block, leave it in the ditch and call it a night. Brother in law has no sense of humor (and he is sittin in the car, it's a rav4). I go back under and rig a line to the pan.
The ZJ (235-75x15 snows) hauls the yota about 200 ft up the ditch. Ya think the brother in law would turn the wheel back up onto the road.
Well we rehook to the back and she drags him another 100ft back the other way and he finally pops out. Snow and wind still howlin. We broke a trail back thru easy foot+ of snow and half dragged the yota home. Gave inlaws a tea and tucked into bead. My girl in her ZJ did real good.

We decided not to run this spot, too deep, I had to think about the guy with the stock jeep, lol. Crappy cell pic but my control arms were dragging.

Hope you're contesting that. I dont see how simply driving to taco bell with half an inch of snow on the ground is grounds for reckless driving.

You should ask that cop how he thinks Canada functions 5 months of the year. 5 months theres atleast an inch on the ground, 4 months theres atleast 6 inches and for 2 months(in my area atleast) theres over 3 feet.

Then theres guys like Alaska, Nunavut, NWT and Yukon that get 12 feet of snow with out blinking their eyes.
