Trimming? Are you talking about what is painted tan camo?

Nope, I have never hung up on a drop bracket and it handles/rides better than a stock XJ.

I hear of folks hanging the DB's but its not been an issue for me and you can see I run rock only.

Trimming as in cutting front fenders. Good to know about thebrackets. Seems to be the common post everytime some one asks about them. Everyone always says they will hang up.

I can't take credit for the cut and roll, I bought this XJ from a friend who started making a trail rig out of it and then had to sell it. He had done the cut and roll, added the snorkel, 32's and a RE 4.5" lift. I picked it up for $1000 and tore it all apart and started over!

That was 4 years ago and several thousand dollars ago as well.

The whole drop bracket thing is really a personal choice. I like the DB's better for a dual purpose rig like mine. LA's can get hung up as well and can be bent, I've seen it happen. They both have their pro's and cons.

whats the distance from your rocker pinch seam to the ground?
Im 5'9" and my hood doesnt come up that high on me
