Lol, i guess we're shaped differently. Ive tried a slew of holster/gun combos, never been able to carry comfortably there. I carry at 5, behind my right hip. No getting to that in a hurry in-car.
Years ago had a hobo try to basically climb in my driver side window. Dont think he was trying to carjack, i dunno what that crackhead was trying to do. Happened too fast to get to my weapon, so i just punched his face till he lfell back, and i got the hell outta there. Cost me a trip to the doc to patch up my hand and get antibiotics.
Since then i keep something in easy reach when im driving.

I hear you man I can't carry IWB anywhere from 2-6 its super uncomfortable.

If I decide to carry in a vehicle, it is in absolute plain view on the dash for several reasons while driving. The first being fast to grab if needed... Second being "see that? Don't bother me". Third being there is no mistake about if and where it is when I get pulled over for any reason. I carry concealed when I am out of the vehicle and my local LA appreciates this very much. Cut and dried... Good to go.
