Painting a center console
My dad has been searching for a full black center console for his MJ for some time... Every one we find is either gray or tan...
How would one look if it was painted black? Has anyone done it? If so, do you have any pictures?
He wants me to add that he is pretty picky too...lol
Thanks

They make rattle cans just for spraying plastic interior parts, and they work pretty well if you follow the instructions for prep. As long as you're not hard on the part it'll look good for a long time. Google comes up with a lot of ideas too:

I did it. I used SEM products. Cleaner, primer, adhesion promoter, and paint. Great stuff it's held up amazingly over the last few months too.
The center console and seats used to be grey.
There's more in my build thread too. (see signature)
