if you want a couple hundred dollar junk-ok paint job then go for macco or a local place, you can do it your self if you have the patience and time to rattle can your xj which will take time and still a good amount of money. You could also roll on bedline your rig, all depending on the quality of paint used also shows the quality of the finished product. I've seen plenty of people use exterior house paint but the end product isnt the best...

FIGURE OUT WHAT YOU WANT FIRST. ARE YOU GOING TO DO TRAILS WITHOUT REGARD TO THE DAMAGE DONE BY LIMBS, ROCKS ETC? OR DO YOU WANT A NICE LOOKING DAILY DRIVER AND PART TIME TRAIL MACHINE? EITHER WAY YOUR RESULTS ARE ALL IN THE PREPARATION. THE BETTER THE PREP, THE BETTER THE OUTCOME!

Dude I spent 5 g's. But I never go off road. Built it for rock crawling but now it only crawls over pavement. So think what are you gonna do with it. Off-road- paint it yourself. Gotta learn sometime. Show- get ready to open that wallet.
