In my Jeep I have the overhead computer with the four dome lights in it. The bulbs look like this:



Does anyone know specifically what type of bulb they are? I would like to get LED replacements.

 

I'll mark this for later and double check the bulbs I got and let you know. I'm on my phone.

 

'Festoon' bulb. Thats old school. My 96 has the t10 bulbs

So, you used google to find an image of the bulb then made a thread here to ask what the bulb is? Instead of just following the link to the bulb? Really?

 

Ha, yea I wondered about that too.
I replaced all mine with LEDs and figured I would share a good vendor.

I wasn't sure whatsoever if the bulbs come in different sizes, specs, or otherwise, so all I could do was try and find a similar one hoping someone here knew the size and specs of the bulb...

Light bulbs come in all different shapes and sizes. Just look at all the varying lengths right here:



What would suck would be ordering a replacement and finding out later on that the bulb was too short or too long and that I couldn't use it.
