I wanna buy these rims from RC
Steel Wheel 15" x 8" ~ 5 x 4 1/2 " Bolt Circle
These wheels have a 3.75 backspace
I like the way the AL rims stick out board, will these 3.75 backspace do the same? any one,

This may sound like a dumb question but when you say trim, what do you trim in the wheel well? Are you talking about the bottum corners of the flare or actually in the fender well or just wherever it rubs?

You don't want to trim the actual fender well, well maybe in the rear you would but not up front. Bumpstops will be used to prevent rubbing in that location. Some guys remove the fender flares and trim an inch or two of fender (cut and fold) in the back for clearance since it's actually lower than the front (design flaw IMO).

And then another thing how about trimming the back corner, bottum of the front flares...are those trimmable b/c that's where I seem to rub the most and also b/c there's that lip there and defenetly DO NOT want to rip that sucker off when I hit them there trails if ya know what i mean.
Phil, i tried looking for my thread on my trimming but i cannot find it. I did trim the front and rear of the front fenders. Here's some pictures:
This is the lip in the rear of the front fender that my tires kept rubbing on. I just cut off a small portion of it and it's been fine since. I haven't off roaded yet though. I didn't have this problem with my ex 4.0" backspaced wheels but with these 3.75's, they rubbed so out came the saw.

Hardly noticeable:

My lift is supposed to be 4"" front/5" rear but i added 3 skids and it brought down the front to around 3". I have 2" ome coil springs, 2" ome HD leaf springs, 2" coil spacers, and 1.5" OME extra leaf with rough country adjustable shackles set at 2".

Yo mudd what size are your tires and how big is your lift b/c i got the same tires and maybe ,just maybe i can trim just like you someday...

and thats a good lookin jeep you got, I wish my dad had bought a project for me and him before i was old enough to drive.
