Because either they asked jeep to sponsor and they said no, or jeep didn't want anything to do with the show in the first place.

I fear this show will spawn a whole new breed of soft headed idiots that will go out and buy a Jeep so they can go off-roading, but they will only end up lost or in the hospital due to their stupidity and the knowledge they gain from an hour long show every week.

Who cares if the show gets people into wheeling. Don't watch it if you don't like it. I swear too many people who are already into 4 Wheeling are nitpicking the show to death because they think they are above it or something. It's an entertaining show that represents 4 Wheeling which we all love.

It shows 2 guys that don't seem to have a clue about what they're doing bush whacking thru a forest. If anything... It gives our sport a bad name...

it's good and bad, I mean it's cool because it shows what a base model TJ with a few mods can do, even if you can't drive worth a damn.

Bad because it can make the rest of us look bad, and spawn a new breed of wrangler tards.

Could be so much better. Way to dramatic of a show, terrible selection of people to put into it, and not enough done to the Jeep. What a waste.

I read an article about Bear Grylls next career move the other day. He said one of the reasons why he was so successful was because he is enthusiastic about what he does (like Steve Irwin). I think all of these other shows on Discovery channel are trying to mimic that behavior but instead are making it way to dramatic rather than fascinating.

I don't claim to be an expert off-roader, I just know my vehicle's limitations and my limitations. I can just see some dude trading in his Camry and hopping into a new Wrangler thinking he can go anywhere because he has 4 wheel drive and seen those two guys plowing through the rain forest, the potential of Camry Dude getting in over his head is quite high.

if you guys watched last nights it was so stupid how they drove ten feet and had to put the axle back in and when it "broke" there was no pop and then when they got down to the trees that was pry the stupidist idea that the amazing wu the expert off road could have made by makeing that ski bc what if something cut there straps now what what they should of done was like in top gear when the bronco broke its the but a bar on the out side to keep the tire and axle in

now i am not saying that i am an expert but that wu guys is way more of a beginner then me i think he is a ricer bc he loves to drive like 40 on this show and the other guys is always yelling at him to slow down

and yes i am gonna keep watching it bc it is a learning experience on what not to do off
roading

never take an asian

As soon as the shaft broke i was saying "they are either going to use the high lift handle and some straps or rope to keep it in, or magically have a spare shaft on board." Nope, they would rather keep jacking it up and sliding it in place every 20 feet til they found a big log to make a ski out of. Which makes more rolling resistance if they were to come to another obstacle, lucky for them, the show ended there.
