Excellent guy to deal with!! They'll talk to you and sell you what you need/want vs what makes them more money. They had the best prices when I bought my stuff too.

Well I mean it depends on what you are doing with it but for the amount of money they cost you can get better kits for offroad use. OME's ride and flex good but just in my opinion it isnt worth twice the money of a similar kit from another company.

I looked at RC,but I didn't want just a lift kit,I wanted a new better suspension system.Thats why I chose to use OME JKS and EnergySuspension bushings

well no im not rich but for the little extra cash i want the best ridin on road rig ...i dont plan on doing any 4 wheelin maybe mildly oh and i want to run 32in tires also
Get a 4.5" RC Long Arm kit. a cheap Long Arm kit will ride tons better than the most expensive short arm 4.5" kit. Trust me on this one. I rode in a 95XJ on 12" with 36s. Guy had a BUILT suspension, full long arm kit and it rode like a Mercedes

wouldnt be bad but that high i start gettin into sye, cv drivline and steering issuse to uprgrade.... and all the reviews say ome have the best street ridin springs which is why i was thinking of the ome 2 1/5 in suspension system and a teraflex 2"in budget boost wouldnt that give me like 3 to 3 1/2 and with some bushwacker or rustys fender flares?? id should be able to run 32in tires

OME seem like a good suspension upgrade for someone that's not tryin to spend a lot of $ & just wants bigger tires if you use just their kit.Its like a factory replacement that grew 2 inches & has more strenght. If you go addin spacers you may need longer shocks let OME know your plans. Also you may need longer brake lines & a SYE. With OME takin you up 2.5" with 2" spacers(4.5") by the time you got done replacin parts to get your jeep back to factory ride should have just went to Rough Country bought a kit & done for cheaper. Any lift over 2"-3" is gonna get expensive because you will be replacin a fair amount of parts to keep a nice street ridin Jeep.

It sounds like what your looking for all you'll need is just a 2" lift. What I did to combat the inital cost was piece the lift together over 6-8 mo. I bought the leaves one month and so on. Than when I have the extra cash and look on going higher I'll purchase an SYE and maybe an extra leaf, shackle and posibly a spacer for the front and I'll be sitting at around 4" + depending on what route I take, hell I'm starting to like the looks of that RC long arm kit upgrade for the distant future.
Oh and to the post above me, he has a 99 the only people that dont need an SYE at 4"+ are people with an earlier XJ. You just gave him some really bogus info, it makes me

This is not necessarily true. You can retain the ride quality with some RE drop brackets on an xj as well. I'm not bashing your LA suggestion, but for someone who does not do a bunch of off road use it's a waste of money. Plus you can run into inspection issues. You should know that living in VA. I have to practically bribe someone to inspect my tj on 5.5 LA lift. Thats why the sticker has been dead since jan 09.
