o2 sensor thats right on the down pipe. bank 2 is the one after the cat if you have a 97+. easy fix but spendy little thing.

Dude thanks man thats what i was thinking it was going to be but when i saw running to lean i was like thinking its was going to be the fuel injectors or pump.

Check for a vacuum leak and check fuel pressure before spending any cash on an O2 sensor.

this to yes, bank 1 just means the sensor is reading something wrong so it might now just be that. for me, the sensors dont like mud and water so after wheeling ill usually get a CEL haha

I'm having the same issue.

The P/O recently bought a new pre-cat O2 sensor, since receipt was in glove box. Disconnecting the battery, fixes it, but only temporarily.

The guy at the parts store put a code checker on it & it said it might be the wiring circuit for the pre-cat O2.

I'll tell ya, it does run better with the C/E light lit. It does get some pinging but only after a warm restart, & only for a block or two.
