I put in my catch can today and it works great except for one finite detail. The oil that gets trapped in the can is not staying there. I don't know why but it is just dumping out of the bottom through the pressure release valve. Sorry I don't have pictures of the leak but I hope you guys can help me out.
Also that's the only place it's leaking from. The hoses and connections are holding up great.

3.) [this is what i did and it seems to work, you can try other things to make the clear bowl air tight]. Since this needs to be pressurized you need to modify the brass dump valve at the bottom of the bowl. To do this, i took off the C clip off the dump valve on the bottom, and popped that little piston up and out, i then took off the spring used to open and close the valve. I wrapped the piston piece in white tape and lubed it with some plumbers grease and dropped it back through the hole. I then re-attached the C clip and to get rid of the slack (and keep the dump valve closed at all times) i used a small zip tie between the bottom nut of the brass fitting on the bottom of the bowl and the C clip.
I then put a small piece of vinyl tubing the the piece of the brass dump valve that was still left poking out the bottom of the filter bowl and plugged the other end to make sure no air could escape.
