Offbeat question about lift coils,,,,,,, gains?
I have all the parts (except shocks) to lift my 96 XJ next weekend. Just thinking ahead ,,,in my head a little.
Approximately what will the net gain be from stock? Using 6.5 inch lift coils.
Will it sit higher than the "advertised" height ?
And how long might the "settle in" period be? Roughly ?
Just bouncing some things around and I just thought I would ask.

Depends on the manufacturer.
Some claim a specific amount of height and do not deliver.
Others state a specific amount of height and the actual ride height is greater my an inch or more.
Time to settle varies on brand the terrain driven.
There simply is no concrete answer for your question, way too may variables.
