Just took my lift kit off the old jeep so had od green rattle can layin around from when I painted my hitch. So decided to paint my coils and going to do my leafs when I can pick up another can and some more clear. heres the pick. let me know ur thoughts

I wish I had the patience to paint all my stuff like that. I had both axles and all my suspension out of my truck and I wanted to paint it. But I hate painting, and the prep even more. Even tho it would look really nice and cut down on rust, I said forget it.

 

ya i know what you mean. was a pain to scuff up the coil springs but day off work had to keep myself busy

 

I know this thread is old but I was told to search so I did. but what are the steps to painting springs? I'am getting my lift in soon and I want to paint them green. So what would be the proper steps into doing this without making it look bad and chip real easy
