I've had my rain x blades for about 3 years and they're just now going bad. My father seen how well mine worked and decided to get the bosch ones made about the same that he thought were "better" and replaced them after a month because his wore out that fast. If you live out in the dry heat the rubber will wear out a hell of a lot faster. Hot and dry is no bueno for rubber.
And i'm not speaking of the blades from rain x that are impregnated with the water repellant stuff, have never tried those.

I don't know how it works in the US but here in Portugal, pretty much everything you buy except used cars come with a 2 year guarantee and applies equally to windscreen wipers.
If they're failing within a month or two can you not just take them back and have them replaced FOC?

I live in the silicon valley. Hardly ever rains compared to even an hour away. Cherokee wiper arms are junk.
I just picked up some wiper snuggies and they work really damn well. I've done the same thing, cheap anscos to expensive blades. All sucked after a year. There's only so much new blades can do for crappy wiper arms.
anyway: $4-5 per pair. I got mine at Napa auto parts, no one else seems to have them, not even amazon.com Maybe rock auto does...
Had to wait til they were shipped overnight to the store I went to
