Ok so my bumper has been on about a month now an hopefully the winch will be there in a couple months. When we laid this bumper out it was with the intention to recess the winch. I didn't want a bumper sticking out a mile but now I'm kinda wondering if I did the wrong thing. How many people have cut the grill to recess the winch? Does it create any overheating issues? Does anybody have any pics with it recessed? Would ask about opinions on a stinger/prerunner bar but there are a couple threads on that already so maybe I'll jump in there lol

I doubt you will be able to recess it into that bumper without having to remove your ac condensor. You may have to redo the bumper or mounting plate. Mine sticks out but has never been a problem with all the wheelin I've done.

No we set it up to just clear everything back there. The grill will almost split the winch down the middle.
