You know you drive an XJ when you repair one thing, park it overnight and it needs 3 more repairs on something else the next morning.

3 for 1 repair ratio, yes that can be an XJ thing. Probably happens when parked overnight near a club on the Jersy shore, lololol
You know you drive an XJ when you need to post passenger instructions in case you need to drive Snookie home. Well if not snookie how about the young kid and his bike I found passed out cold in the middle of the road one morning a week ago.
You know you drive an XJ when you don't run over the drunk neighbours.

When driving school taught you to never pump the brakes on a vehicle with power brakes, but on your XJ you have to pump the brakes and downshift to come to a stop at a light. Damn crappy Cherokee brakes

YKYDAXJ hear a click click pop wheelin' and tell your passenger it's fine but spend the next week asking yourself "what the hell was that?"

Or watching your friends bury their full-size rigs in mud, and while they are winching spray them with mud as you do 2wd doughnuts in the same swamp with their girlfriend riding shotgun in the XJ

Haha so true. I live 2 miles from the shore. I'm right over the bridge. But the Jeep wouldn't fit in down there so I had to drive my Altima with the tint and rims in order top be part of the crowd. There are plenty of snookies down there. Funny how she has so many followers. I'm more of a Sammy or J Wow guy myself. haha!

You know you drive an XJ when you've thought about bedlining the dashboard so it doesn't make that loud crack noise when you hit bumps.

You know you drive an XJ when you get yelled at for going through every large puddle but try to explain you are washing the wheel well and undercarriage.

You know you own an XJ when you clean bricks of mud from out of the inside of the bumper!
