JUST happened
Oh that sucks. Make sure u get the most expensive estimate u can for fixing it. Hell get enough to total it. I used to run valet at a casino an some chick I worked with did that with a conversion van. Jammed it in there so badly a wrecker had to winch it. Casino bought them a brand new one.

Mine was already started and there's no parking off campus because it's right off of a highway. I wish they would just let me park it.

Don't they go get it or do they make you search the lot?

Mines on short arms I don't have enough money for long arms

That timebomb I was talking about..
Shuts up as soon as I get going down the road. Only happens in the mornings below 32.

definitely sounds like top end noise. Noisy valves most likely. Verify the oil pressure on the dash is actually correct with a mechanical gauge. If so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Eventually you should plan on doing a valve job

I'm not worried. I'm 90% sure the lifters leak down overnight. Has 240k on it.
After that little bit it is totally quiet.

the other thing I'm thinking - is your exhaust manifold cracked? If you that will make the ticking WAY louder when the metal is cold.

You can feel the heat come through the firewall when you floor it.

On days like today I'd kill for that, but in the summer I hate it.
