I'm xXUSMCGRIFFXx btw....But last time I checked boring out your throttle body and all of this other crap he did increases HP but decreases MPG.....Screw Logic
Here's an argument I had with a guy over this....I just gave up after a bit
This last post is his too...
Until I just switched to larger tires, I'd been averaging about 26.. that was stock. Now I'm on 30x9.5's.. haven't gotten lower than 23 since the switch.
But, I did A LOT to get to that 26.. pressured out my whole system, upgraded injectors, etc..

I'm stock and average 16 on crappy winter gas, 18 on good summer gas. One time I got 21. My mileage seems to get worse when I drive like a grandpa.

You know you drive an XJ when you feel sticks and brush poking you in the bottom of your foot.

I love this cause not only are you ignoring your rusted floor pans...you're also driving barefoot. I approve
Tetanus just makes the bond between a man (or bopeep) and his (or her) Jeep that much tighter.

Nahh, not barefoot(well not all the time) Though it's pretty bad when you can feel the sticks poke you through the carpeting when your wearing heavy boots. lol

Indeed.
I take pride in the fact that my XJ gets better mileage than my work van.
And I gave up worrying about mileage in the work van long ago, cuz it doesn't really matter...

You know you drive an XJ when you know who works what day and what shift at the gas station, and know all of them by first name. And they know to prepay $60 to pump 1 when I roll up.
