I got an adapter for my 12V outlet next to my defroster/wiper switch. Was around $10 at Radio Shack, and it has another 12V, a 120V plug, and a USB port. Not enough power to run a vacuum from it, but two strings of lights are no problem.

Well if you wanna spend a lil more you can get a 200w black and decker one and hardwire to battery with #6 wire for future upgrade and get lights that are about $15 and $32 for inverter. This is my route or you can get a 100w inverter and go with LED lights which should work fine too. Im gonna do mine this week and take some pics
