You know you drive an xj when you are counting down until your next available 401k loan so you can get some new meats and better gears... Shame on me... it gets paid back with interest

 

Don't mean to sound like a dick, but that may be the best way to esnure you have to keep working until your 80. Taking a couple grand out of a 401k when your'e young (assuming you are) can end up costing you 10's of thousands on the back end. Especially in this economy, now is the time to be investing in your 401k.
Talking from experience here, I did the same thing in my 20's and regret it to this day.

Try it in an 89 with a blown rod bearing, transfer case linkage bent and hardly working. Did that for a year. Junked it when I got my 01.... Miss that jeep.... Still hauled a$$!
