No no no... when you get mad when somebody calls your xj a grand Cherokee or asks if it's a grand Cherokee.

 

When we see one on Craigslist for sale you look past the faded paint on the hood because you can paint it, the rusty looking wheels because you are going to change them out, the missing couple of pieces of body molding because you are going to take them off anyway. The only thing you see is its a 97 with a 4.0 with 180,000 for 1500 and you think its got real possiblities

 

i have people ask me all the time about, oh your 26 when are you gonna get a newer car. I just tell em when mines hits 300k+ and cant take the abuse no more thats when ill get a new cherokee

 

Or how about when they say I have a "Jeep--Jeep" a.k.a. Wrangler

 

This hot chick I know drives a yellow wrongler, doesn't wheel it, and says she doesn't like cherokees. But she loves her car as much as I love mine so I'll grin and bare it. For now...

i proved a girl wrong by saying ok my stock vs your 4.5in lifted wrongler on some street tires (i dont have 4wd but a locker in the rear via tha last owner) and needless to say she bogged down first and i didnt get stuck at all now she wants a ride everyday in my xj (also read my sig and you can guess what else happend lol )...
you know you drive an xj when you can convert wronglers to cherokee lovers

 

I'll have to take her wheeling and try and convert her haha her boyfriend won't be too happy HAHA
